The Australians began a match at Cheltenham to-day against Gloucestershire. The weather is fine, the wicket hard, and the attendance good. Hill, Johns, and M'Leod are standing out. With one wicket down for 15, Champain and Townsend got' together and made a good stand. Jessop also played a fine innings, but the wickets fell rapidly, and at the luncheon adjournment seven were down for 138.
