HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Hos> pital Trustees, held on Wednesday, was attended by Messrs P. Miller (chairman), W. Wright, W. Wills, and J. K. Brown.
The House Committee reported that Nurse M Larcm had tendered her resignation on receiving the appointment of nurse in the Tinmru Hospital, the resignation having been accepted. A donation of clothing had been received from the Hospital Guild for the use of the patients. —The reperrt was adopted. The Finance Committee reported that salaries and accounts for the month of July amounting to £659 17s 4d, were passed for payment. The receipts for the month of July were aa follows:—In-patients, £133 Os lid-out-patients, £9 18s 3d; sales, £8 3s; donations, £S 9s;—total, £159 11s 2d. Mr Booth of Melbourne, gave a donation of £2, and the Salvation Army a donation of £6 9s, the sum collected by the Federal Band. Accounts for the year ended 31st March had been audited, and a rough copy of the balance sheet was attached. The committee recommended that application be made to the Hospital Board for the usual monthly contribution of £450 — The report was adopted. The out-patient returns for the month of July showed a total attendance of 539 cases. The return for the corresponding month of last year was 601.
