Tho Champion Gold Mining Company (Limited) have obtained lOoz Odwt 20gr from the top boxes for 44 hours' actual elevating. Tho manager reports that he intends shortening the main line of pipes and erecting a short portable elevator and boxes in the paddock, as ho is unable to take up the bottom, which has not yet been touched, owing to the ground deepening and dipping away ftoih tho main lift. It will take some time to effect these alterations, but as soon as they are completed work will bo carried on for 16 hours per day instead of 8 hours as at present. Tho capital is to be £10,000, in £1 shares, and 8000 shares are being offered to the public. It is stated that 1000 shares are bespoke. Tho reports of experts on the claim are attached. Tho directors of the Golden Terrace Dredging Company have declared a fourth dividend of Is per share, payable on Thursday.
