AUCKLAND, April 17.
At the meeting of tho National Council of Women a paper was read by Mrs Gib!)ii on "The Training of Domestic Servants." The following resolution proposed by Mrs Kirkby, seconded by Mrs Tasker, was passed:—" Thut in the opinion of this council domestic servants should be legally entitled to a weekly half-holiday." Mrs Sievwright read a, paper on ''Parental Responsibilities" in tlio evening which evoked a discussion.
