' (Bek Ukited Peess Association.) Sydney, September 5. At-the. League of Wheelmen's meeting the International Ten-mile Scratch Race .resulted : Mepson (N.S.W.) 1, Green (Bcgland) 2, Forbes (N.Z.) 3. Time, 2Sniin 39sec; paced. In the Five-mile Race, Reynolds (Ireland) beat Martin (America). Time, lOmin 35£ sec. Forbes (N.Z.) won the Mile and a-half Handicap in 3mia ISJjcc. The Multicycle Three-mile Handicip resulted in Martin's triplet being first, while Forbes and Hunt (N.Z.), on a tandem, were second. Won by a foot in 6min 193ec.

The match took.pliice at Glasgow. Ruasell got the better cf the start, but at 50 yards it wa's a ueck-and-neck race.. At the end of tbe first 100 yards Cavill led by Ere yards. At .400 yards Cavill had increased his lead to 20 yards, and'eventually won by 25 yards, the time being 6min 13sec.
