The Duke of Gonnanght, replying to a toast afc a banquet, said he was satisfied with the soldierly bsaritig of the colonial troops, and was pleased to have had them uuderms command at Aldershot.

A great crowd witnessed the arrival of the New Zealand contingent by the Raahina yesterday afternoon. They were received by the mayor (Lienfenantcolonel Davies), and were entertained as a smoke concert last; night. ■ .
