OUR RESERVES.
TO THB EDITOR. Sin,—l noticed in your issuo of yesterday's date a leaderette on our reserves, and I am glad to see soma movement is on foot to better these placss of public resort. The resulting benefit to the, game-loving and general public as suggested by you is only too obvious. We should be able to conduct and witness onr chief athletic contest- within a far more convenient distance than is at present the case, and in oousequonoe I trust the movement will nob bo allotved to lapse but will receive tbe support from all grades of the community it so well merits. Should a subscription list be opened for this object, I would be glad to throw in my mite towards its fulfilment, and I know many others who would do likewise.—l am, &.., Dunedin, October 10. Improvement.
