PROFESSOR DAVIS'S ENTERTAINMENT.
Professor Davis's entertainment still continues to attraot large audiences at the Princess Theatre. Last evening the building was well filled, and the professor met with a very favourable ' reception. Those present were completely mystified by the cabinet performance. A committee of gentlemen once again securely bound Profts&or Davis, but seemingly he emerged from his bondage or returned to it at his own sweet will. The act was effected under the closest scrutiny and under the most exacting conditions, yet not the slightest clue revealed itself as to the professor's methods. His spirit tests and tho materialisation of tbe spooks "Tessy," "Geordie," and "Josephine were also watched with the greatest interest, and the opinion of the audience appeared to be in the direction that the performance was really a remarkably clever one. A feature of the entertainment without doubt is Madame Stella Darin's exhibition of mind-rending. $?early a hundred questions were written for her solution, and naturally she could only deal with a small proportion of them. Vet the manner in which she divined the written queries and delivered information concerning them was a matter for the deepest surprise. To-night Professor Davio will again appear at the theatre, aud on each oocasion he varies his programme by the introduction of entirely new matter.
