Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. London, March 10. Tha wool sales are active, nnd prices well maintained.
The Ts!ew Zealand L^oan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable from their London office: — " Wool: Since the close of last sales washed merino super, greasy merino super, aud fine scoured croisbred are Id to Id per lb higher ; greasy, washed, aud scoured merino, medium and inferior, are Id per lb higher ; aud medium scoured crossbred, coaxss scouted crossbred, and scoured crossbred lambs are £d per lb higher; other descriptions unchanged. Competition of both Home and foreign buyers ia active. The American demand is limited. Dp to date 64,000 bales have been sold."
