Major Jameson, M.P. for West Clare, moved an amendment to the Address-in-Rsply advocating the claims of the Christian Brothers' schools in Iraland. Secretary Gerald Balfonr said that the Government expscted to pass a bill this session to meet the difficulty. The amendment was thereupon withdrawn and tha Address adopted.
Mr Curzon, Under-s*cratary for Foreign Affairs, ia reply to a question, said that a British guard had landed at Oliemulpo after the .Russian, and that the Government had co reason to feelieve that the Russians were occupying the placs.
Mr Hogaa has introduced a bill in the Hoane of Commons to legitimise the children of marriage in the colonies with a deceased wife's sister.
