Mr Thomas Calleader reports 18oz 19dwt 14gr gold from the Matakitaki Gold Dredging Company (Limited) for the week ended Friday, Wth intifc. . Mr Ziman,(says tbe Lyell Times) has,notiiied Mr Frank Hamilton that he is prepared to exercise his option of purchasing the Golden Fleece mine for,_Jssoo. The upper level is now being worked on tribute, which lasts for another year, but a proviso , stipulates that Mr Ziman, upon payment of another £1000, may take full possession ,c.f the property. The taking over-'of the Golden Fleece may be said to carry with it the purchase of the Black Point Low Level, Venus, and Royal properties, bnt Mr Ziman's right of exercising ths option of purchase of these properties does not expire for some time. Mr Ziman has floated the AVelcome United Company. The present shareholders receive 24,000 shares paid up ont of 100,000, and £15,000 working capital'is provided to develop the mine. (
