Tbe Fall Court has decided that the Nullum Tempu, Act, spplyiog to the possession of land, holds good in the colony. The case was one in which the Attorney-general contended that defendant, was an intruder on certain Crown lands. Defendant pleaded GO years' adverse possession, aad that under the Nullum Tempos Act the land was now vested in him absolutely. This decision is of great importance, as it affects a larga number of landholders. If possible, the Crown will appeal to ths Privy Council.
