FRIENDLY SOCIETY.
The Otago Lodge, No. 107, U.A.0.D., held their fortnightly meeting at their lodge room, European Hotel, on Wednesday last, A.D. Bro. Ruston in the chair. There was a large attendance of members and visitors. Official vi-rita ■were received from the Ivanhoe, Ri.yal Oak, All Natioos, and Linden Lodges. P.D.P. Bro. T. Muir being about to leave • Dunedin for Oamaru, DP. Bro. Wynn, D.P.. Bro. Knox, and the brethren spoke in very high terma of Bro. Muir's career as a Druid, and wuhed him every success and happiness in his new sphere. Bro. Muir feelingly responded, and thanked the brothers for their very Bnd reo-arka. He would always do what ho could in the interest of Drnidisni. It being pound night the lodge adjourned and went in for harmony and feasting. About 130 members and visitors were present. The following contributed towards the evening's enjoyment:—-Bro. Lemon, pianoforte selection ; songs—Bros. E«-ton, Orchid, Logic, Isaacs, King, CnthbcrUoa, Reyonalda, Cuion, EttC-r, M. ssrs Lorrigan, Hnd*oa, Harris, Hughes, Hamaan (piano solo), Eager (cornel; solo).
