SWIMMING TOURNAMENT.

The eighth annual swimming tournament, in connection! with the Albany street School was held at the Logan's Point Baths yesterday afternoon. Thero was a fair attendance, and the weather beiDg delightful the affair passed off with gre-ifc success. Messrs Barnett, Eggers, and Summerell, " members -of .the school' committee, and Mr Ferguson, the head master, were present; and the arrangements in connection with the tournament were admirably carried out by Messrs Thomson, M'Nickle, and Spence. A number of novel eve'uls wefeintroduced, the principal ones being a Royal Mail Race, which proved very exciting, and the Corfa Dive.
