MR J. F. M. FRASBR AND THE MINISTER FOR LANDS.

TO THE EDITOH. Sir, —Truly sorry am I that the mantle of Sir R. ijtout, acting as dry nurse to the Mmjster for Lands, should have fallen on the shoulders of Mr Frasec. So confident I am that Mr Eraser's heart is in the right place, but through some unaccountable reason (to me) perhaps it may bathat $be fine tissues or nerve forces connecting the mind have gone away. He requires a mild but thorough course of treatment to bring him back to that robujt health he experienced daring his residence in these parts. I will undertake (he willing) to administer to him a grand and truly specific antidote in the shape oi political misdeeds with which his ideal Minister has permeated this district, and ani hopeful, although fuljy cognisant of the desperate disease, that if taken with a little faith, it will restore his equilibrium again, I stipulate for private treatment only, because it has been pointed put to me truly that the Minister* are making capital of the public exposure of their corrupt1 practices on a pat with the itinerant thimbleriggers and wheel of fortune fraternity, who, in tho presence o£ Policeman X, protest extreme virtue, at the same time winking fkt the crowd of deluded dupes standing ready to he foqled as the policeman mpves on unconvinced and powerless.—l am, &0., Dunback, Jan. 21. R. A. Wpstern.
