(Pbb United Pkbss Association.)
CiruiSTCHDBCn, January 23.
A meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Sheepbreeders' Association was held to-day to consider a request from tho Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association to reintroduco tha inspection clause which was rescindad at the last meeting. The council, after discussion, unanimously considered that, inasmuch as applications for registration in respect of 200 flocks from all parts of thu South Mand had been sent in, iuniis could not be found to carry out the personal inspection of each flock. It was, however, resolved th*t the entries from Southland, Otago, North Otago, South Canterbury, and North Canterbury should be forwarded to tho Agricultural and Pastoral Associations in thosa districts for inspection by the local committees, who would bs suthorissrf to make all inquiries aud inspect, if necessary, the flocks submitted to them. Entries will »lso be open for the inspection of breeders up to filaroh.
