DE.BtgcENNESs.r-In connection with a charge cf this nature against a respectable looking womannamed Rose Moore, who appeared in. court With an infant in her arms, and who was said to have been three times convicted of drunkenness, hisWorship considered that it was a pitiable sight to; see a woman in •such a <;onditioo, and convicted and discharged her.~r--.Tane Whittaker, an elderly woman, pleaded; not guilty to being drunk.-f- : Sargeant O'Neill said the woman was down on the wharf, and talked about doing away with, herself, and some bystanders sent for the police.
