(Received March 31, at 0.45 a.m ) The Trades Conciliation Bill has passed through Parliament, but the Early Closing Bill has been rejected by the Legislative Council by FALL IN SILVER STOCKS. A great fall in tbe price of silver stocks has taken place, and some consternation has been occasioned at Broken Hill at the fact, as the appearance of the mines does not warrant the fall. The following are the latest quotations : —Proprietary, L 5 6s ; Block No M Ll • Block No. 10, L 5 6s; Centrals, Ll 10s. The fall with regard to the latter is largely due to collapses in the underground workings. LORD SHEFFIELD'S TEAM. Adelaide, March 30. (Received March 30, at 3.40 a.m.) Lord Sheffield's team of English cricketers sailed for Plymouth yesterday. VAN DIEMEN'S LAND BANK. Hobart, March 30. (Received March 30, at 8.40 p.m.) The Bank of Van Diemen's Land pays another dividend on the 12th April, making a gross reduction in its liability of L 418.000. RICH SILVER MINE. A rich vein of chloride-sulphide silver was struck in the Washington mine, White River assaying 15,8110z and 44- per cent, lead to the ton.
