■ Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary alterations) as under: — For Northern Ports, overland, daily at 10.30 a.m., C.P.O. Late letters, mail van, North train, at 11 a.m. This Day (Wednesday), March 23. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Manapouri, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, guard s van, Port train, at 2.30 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. i For Northern Ports of New Zealand, Samoa, Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, South America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, at 10 a.m. Money orders at 4 p.m. and registered correspondence at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 22nd. Book packets and newspapers at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, 23rd. Late letters, bearing an additional single rate of postage (2Jd) as, a late fee can be posted in the mail van attached to the North train, leaving Dunedin railway station at 11 a.m. on the 23rd The above mail will be due in London on 27th April. Thursday, March 24. For Southland, Australian Colonies (via Hobart), India, China, Japan, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, &c. per Tekapo, at 2.50 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port train, at 3.35 p.m. Letters for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed Parcel post mails for the Australian Colonies (except New South Wales and Queensland) will close at 5 p.m. on the 23rd.
