A Chinaman named Ah Good, liviDg at Arch Hill, n subusb of the city, has been found to be suffering from li-prosy iv an advanced Btage. The patient when found to be ill was taken to Dr liakewell, who at ouce decided the nature of the disease. Ah Goon states that the first Bpot of the roaiady appeared about three yeans ago. He has beeu isolated, and Inspector Brobam, of the police force, and Mr Steadman, chairman of the Arch Hill Road Board, have communicated with the Colonial Secretary asking for instructions as to what shall be done in the case. The patitnt U one of the Chiuese market giirdenp.rs and has been pursuing his avocation in aud out of town.
