Dbukkesness.—One person charged with this offence was convicted and discharged. Lakcem-.—John Lambert was charged with stealing a jug, of the value of 2s, the property of Ly Hook.—lrom the ovidence for the prosecution it appeared that the informant and another Chinaman saw the accused enter Iho informant's house and take the jug, whiqh was afterwards found in the possession of the accused.-The accused, who stated that h ls son bought the jug from a man named Herasley, was sent to gaol for seven days. Obscene Language. - Mary Hayes was charged wi.li makm K use ot obscene language iv Leith street. »»r Hanlon appeared for the accused, who was convicted and discharged, this being her first offence of til 6 Itiuu.
