IMPORTANT SALE OF STUD SHEEP.
Messrs Wright, Stephonson, and Co. report having Bold privately, on account of Mr Max Friedlander, of Aahburton, lOpurebred stud Hampshire Downsheep, consisting of his two-tootli champion prize ram, by champion ram out of an imported ewe. at 35guineas, and nine two-tooth ewes, by Lord Wellington out of imported ewes, nt 20 guineas each, to an Australian buyer. These valuable sheep are the progeny ot stock imported from Kngland s me years since from the noted flocks of Mr Anthony Budd, Quldhampton farm, O'verton, Hants, and Mr William Parsons, West Stratton farm Micheldever. Tho sheep were Bhipped in splendid condition on Thursday last bythes.a. Hanapourl for Melbourne, whence they will ba taken to Mr F. G. Docker's estate in the Wangaratta district, Victoria, and if the buyer has the good fortune to land his purchase safely more will, no doubt.be heard of it, as it is his intention to exhibit the sheep at tho forthcoming shows in Australia.
