The anniversary tciirai-frtins of ths Congregational Church. Port Chalmers, was held on the 11th Inst. In addition to the iamilv collecting boxes, Mr Scale, the union collector, had met with fair success. The church building was in urgent need of renovation, and promises amounting to £M had been given.
