The adjourned half-yearly meeting of the Loya! Haud and Heart Lodge was held yester-

day evening iv the Stuart street Hall. Tho officers for the ensuing six months took their seats:—G.M.,Hro. E. S. Clarke ; NX.., ISro. J. A.

Hopcraft; V.G., Bro. W. J. Burdsley; E.S., Bro. J. Hamel; Warden, Bro. S. Woods ; Guardian, Bro. J. Johnstone; K.S.N.G, Bro. 0. Hughes ; K.S.V.G., Bro. J. Smith ; L.S.A'.G., Bro. T. Mant. Thero was a fair attendance of members, and a few visiting brothers were also present. A large quantity of correspondence was received and dealt with. Three candidates

were initiated. G.M. Clarke was appointed Lecture Master rice P.G. J. Paterson, resigned. P.C.S. Black wrote informing the lodge that the half-yearly Purple Lecture and Past Oflicers' Degree meeting will be held in the Albion Lodge room On Wednesday the 25th inst. The half-yearly balance sheet was received from the auditors, a perusal of which shows that the lodge still continuei to be iv a flourishing condition. The same was adopted as received. G.M. Smith and P.G. Wallace replied to the usual toasts on behalf of tho Albion and Duuedin lodges respectively. The receipts were £60 18s lid.
