DRUIDISM.

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Otago Lodge of Druids, No. 107, was held in the Baldwin Hotel on Wednesday evening, when there was a large attendance of members and visitors. Notices of nominations for Grand Lodge representative were sent in, but it was resolved that the lodge take no action in sendinu a representative to Victoria. It was also resolved that the following resolution bo forwarded to the Grand Lodge:—" That a respectful letter be sent to the Grand Secretary for him to lay before the Grand Lodge meeting, that any representative that may be present from No. in district does not represent the views of the Otago Lodge, No. 107, re District Grand Lodge for the Middle Island, we being adherents to tho Grand Lodge of Australia.1 J.P.A. Bro. Walsh was tho recipient of a silver cup, presented by V.A. Bro. Lamer, for the excellent manner he h-d carried out his duties during his term of office. The trustees reported having placed £50 on fixed deposit for 12 months in the Bank of New South Wales, which made a total of £180 out at interest, bringing in £12 per annum. The lodge went into harmony, and after a pleasant evening, separated about 10.3'J p.m.
