Sir,—Sir Robert Stout's figures puzzled me, but the Hon. Mr Reynolds' have upset me alto- [ gether. Can you help mo to understand why ifc is, if they have reduced their expenditure as much as they say, tbey want to grind over £300,000 more taxes out of us poor hard-working meu ?
