Co.'s steamer Mararoa, Captaiu J, Edie, from Melbourne, via Hobart and the Bluff, arrived at Port Chalmers at 7 a.m. yesterday. A batque showing Geiman colours was reported off the heads yesterday foieuoon. She was t.-nderc-d by the p.s. Koputai and towed across the bar at O.liO p.m., anchoring for a time in Mausford Hay and afterwards towing up to Dunedin. She proved to be the Arab, from New York, and was met in the lower harbour by the Government steam launch, and all being well, she was grautcd pratique by Di* Drysdale, the*health oflicer, aud cleared in by Mr Howie, acting'survoyor of Customs. The .'.rnbisa smart looking wooden barque of 511 tons r. gister, and was built in Sleswig Hohtein.
