MEETING OF CREDITORS.
Rk Mart Jackson,
A meoting of creditors in Un: estate of Mary Jackson, hotelkeeper, was heard at the ollicial assignee's oilice yesterday afternoon.
Mi* Mouat appeared for the bankrupt, and Mr Webb for the assignee. The bankrupt's statement showed her liabilities to be £21!) 5s sd, and her assets £10, leaving a deficiency of £20!) 5s sd. The following are the principal unsecured creditors :—M'Gavin, M'Gregor, and Smith, XI 15s 3d; Donald M'Gregor, £0; Speight aud Co., £5 12s; Lane and Co., £7; Thomson and Co., £6; Mis Nicholson, £l(i; John Page, £20. The ouly secured creditor is tho National Bank of New Zealand, who hold a bill of sale over the bankrupt's furniture to secure a debt of £150, the estimated valine of the security being £20. It wa.s resolved that the bankrupt be recommended for her discharge.
