THE ELECTIONS.
TO TUX EDITOIt. g I i !) —j[r K. C. lintce, the member for R.ingitikei, is to deliver au address in Cbristchurch on Monday evening, the 18th iust., under the auspices of the Political Reform Association. Thisgentleman favoured us with a very able address some time ago in the Lyceum, and I am very sure all the electors of this city would be. very glad to hear him again ; and seeing that such a lamentable amount of ignoranco prevades this community on the subject of Freetrade, I hope that the newly-formed Duuedin and Suburban Financial Reform Association will invite Mr Bruce to come on here and redoliver the address I speak of. I trust Mr Roberts the president, will at oi!ie take the initiative, if he has not already done so.—l am. Sec, Vhertuadeh. Dunedii), July 16.
