TRUSTEES, EXECUTORS, AND AGENCY COMPANY.
The fourth annual meeting of shareholders of the -trustees, Executors, and Agency Company of ISew Zealand was held on the llthinst.at the company's offices, Exchange Buildings The directors' report stated that the profit and loss account for the period ended March 31, ISB6, showed a net profit of £461, out of which they recommended that a dividend of 4 per cent, should be paid and the balance carried forward to next year's account. The business or the company continued to increase About 3000 shares were represented at the meeting, and Mr J. Roberts presided The Chairman reviewed the balance sheet, and showed that substantial progress had been made by the company with little or no iucrease in the expense of management He had to congratulate the company on the fact that as yet none of the investments made by the directors, either on behalf of their constituents or for the company, had fallen back on their hands. Up to the 31st March there were no arrears of interest or rent with the exception of three small sums. The company had property of the value of £250,000 under their control a, against an amount of £250,000 last year He moved the adoption of the report and balance sheet, and that a dividend should be paid as recommended.
Mr A. W. Mourns seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously. Messrs J. Roberts and P.C. Neill were elected directors, and Messrs W. Brown and A. Bartleman auditors.
