Currants.ojd to h\&; Sultanas, 6d to 6Jd; ilemes, 63d. For fish the demand is quiet, considering the season. Stocks of salmon are becoming low, and cocktail is firm at 7s 9d ; sardines, 8s 6d and 5s for halves and quarters respectively. Herrings, ling, and nearly all other descriptions of fish are very dull. In hops we only hear of a few small lots of new Nelsons having been placed with the brewers at up to 7d, a price which must leave a serious loss to the grower. Galvanised iron is quiet, and there is very little demand for fencing wire.as yet. Linseed oils are unchanged. Coarse castor oil moves off at 3s 2d. Patna rice is saleable in small lots at up to £20. Salt is firm at last week's quotations. Bottled ale is dull, but a rather better demand is beginning to be experienced for stout. Wines and spirits are very quiet. On "Wednesday we shrill publish our usual Summary for transmission by San Francisco mail.
