Wjtfb Desertion.—Harry Stapleton was charged with deserting his wife, and wai ordered to pay 10a a week; and find a surety ifl the sum of £50 for the payment thereof ', in .default of getting the surety to go to. gaol for six months, or until the surety was found. False Weights.—For using a balance which wa& inaccurate John Swan was fined 20s and costs, the balance to be forfeited.
