ST. KILDA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
At the ordinary meeting of the St. Kilda Borough Council last evening there woro piesent—The Mayor (Mr Gourley), Cra Stenhouse, Felthani, Gore, and Mitchell.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
An account from Mr Dale for screenings hud in Musselburgh Ward, and ouo from Mr Bremner for blacksmith work, were passed for payment.
A lettor was read from Mr Sims stating that the inspector had filled up a ditch near the house of Mr Roberts, horsedoaler, and asking that the same be reopsued at once, as it caused
Hood overy time it rained. —Received,
A letter was read from Mr Vickory complaining of the unsatisfactory state of the footpath in Cutten street. —Consideration adjourned for a fortnight.
A letter was read from Messrs Royso, Stead, and Co. stating that they had taken over the OJa3 works from Mr Hutchison, and requesting that in future all communications relating to tho works ba addressed to them.—lieteived.
ilr Feltham called attention to the state of tho ditch in Bayviow nad near his property.— On the motion of Cr Stkniiouse, seconded by Cr Feltham, it was decided to call for tenders for cleaning out the ditch, and that the Works Committee be empowered to accept one of tho tenders,
