London, December 30th,
General Roberts has held a Durbar at Jellalabad, where all the chiefs of the Afghan frontier were assembled, and there he announced to them that henceforth Great Britain was to be sovereign Po^er. A riot, originating among the students at Kiel, produced a great disturbance aud bloodshed. The troop 3 were called, out, and fired among the rioters, with tho result that 80 student* were killed.
