Arnold alias Hartness, lOi,, or 48 hours' imprisonment. Language.—John Strike was charged with having, on the 27th inst., unlawfully used threatening language towards Joseph Eskdale. Mr J, H. Harris appeared for. the defendant, who, after some evidence had been given,, apologised for the language he had used towards the .complainant, and promised not to interfere with.him in future. The case was then withdrawn by consent.
