The wort sales, after a course of remarkable steadiness, closed slightly weaker. 271,272 bales were catalogued and 130,003 were taken for export. Aa advance was established on March rates as follows; Superior fleece, ljd to 2d; ordinary/ Yd - scoured. Id to l£d ; greasy, £d to Id; halfbred greasy, Id to l£d. Coarse wools attracted a specisl demand, and lambs commanded extreme rates. 0. The Bank reserve is strong, and money is |in less demand, but firm.
