LICENSING COURT.
Tuesday, 12th January.
(Before J. Bathgate, Esq., R.M., Chairman • and A. O. Strode, Esq , R.M.) NIGHT LICENSES,
Referring to this matter, the Chairman said ; In the case of the night licenses judgment not having been yet pronounced in the proceedings on information against Percival Barker, the Court proposes to adjourn for consideration all the other applications until jurlgineut be pronounced. It is proposed to adjourn until this day month. There was another ca3e to be considered at this adjournmeiit, that of Mr Lewis Marshall, and if the party is present and desirous of pressing on his case, then the Court will adjourn consideration of that case until Tuesday next \\e would have heard it to-day, but there being no quorum present, the case cannot be entertained.—Mr Haggitt stated that he appeared for the applicant, who was promised a license subject to certain approvals being carried out, wliieli had been dune. He did not wish to bring the Court back unnecessarily, and would allow his case to stand over with the others.—The Court adjourned until Tuesday next.
