BiJ 17 a Sundries... 43 7 9 Total ...£586 19" 4 At a Government land sale, held lately, the following lands, situate in the Kaitangata district, were purchased by Mr Robert Chapman, Dunedin, at 10s per acre:— Sections 19, 20, 21, and 34, block 111., and containing in the aggregate 467 acres ; sections 1 and 2, block 1 v 7, amcinnting to 4-15 acres ; and sections 12 aud IS, block VII.. 286 acres. Section 35, block L, Clarendon district, 130 acreH, was bought by Mr Hugh Yoraton, at lOHiJcracre. Section 2, block XVI., Waihola district, was bought by Mr John Hyde Harris, Dunedin, at 51s per acre, and section 5, block XVII., 52 acreH, by Mr A. Carrick, at 14s per acre. The south-cast part of section 7, block XIII., Inch Clutha, an area of 40 acres, was purchsmed by Mr Alexander M'Lean, Inch t-'lutha, at GBs per acre, and the south part of section 5, block XIII., same district, and forming an area of 38 acres, was purchased, by Mr Willock« at the
same rate.
