VITAL STATISTICS.
The following shows the number of births, deaths, and marriages registered in Dnnedin during the six months ended on the 30th June :—
The excess of births over deaths during the half-year was thus 388, or at the rate of 220.45 per cent. Tho figures for the corresponding period of 1871 are . — Births, 575 ; deaths, 148 ; marriages, 120.
