Wellington, Juno 20th. A local society for the purpose of assisting immigration and settlement, on a basis similar to that of the English society represented by Colonel Feilding, is being formed here. The required capital is forthcoming. An unoccupied house in Haining street -was burned down last night. It was ivBured.

Captain Carey, of the Keera, replaces Captain Kennedy in command of the Wellington.
