Sir—" Edinburgh" writes calling atten[on to the fact that the Government flew the loyal Standard at half-npst last Thursday, 'erhaps this may be excused, and put down o ignorance, and the fact that it is the only :ag they have. . But, Sir, Ido not think it j at all the correct thing for a tradesman to iy the Royal Standard over his place of busiest, and especially at half-mast, as was the ase yesterday,—-I am, &c,
