Wellington, January 24th,
The interprovincial cricket match today between Nelson and Wellington, was won by Wellington, by five wickets.
The regatta yesterday was a great success. A match for L25 a side took place to-day between Nelson and Wei- ! Ungton whale-boats, and was v?on easily by the latter, which also won yesterday.; -
Mr John Martin is a candidate for the representation of the city.
