The (Jamdiuti New* of the 2Sth ult. writes m follows of the new dominion of Canada ;—We have been favored with an officially prepared memorandum respecting the financial position and trade of the domimen of Canada, and from which we ■ gather tho following interesting figures. Tlie revenue for the last tinancikl year wasi as follow**, viz :—' Canada, 12,432,748 dob; Nova Scotia, 1,005,071 <loh ; Now Brunswick, 1,212,021 dote; total, 15,303,840 dote;'whilst the expenditure for the uame period was— Canada, 11,711 j32Cdote ; Nova Scotia, about l,600,000dote; Kow Brunswick, ■ 1,080,047d0te; total, " 14,3»1,3G7d0U» ; leaving an available snrplua of 918,473d015. Of this exptmditm'e the militia, expenses of lost year were .'—Canada, l,C3B l ßCßdote; Nova Scotia, ISG,4GQdoh ; New Brunswick, 152,148 dote—making a total for the whole of 'these provinces of 1,047,47Cd035. The public debt of the dominion of Canada will lie 77,500,000d0k, made up -as follows .-.—Ontario and Quebec, 62,500,000d01s ; Nova Scotia, 8,000,000 dols; New Brunswick, 7,0G0,000d015.
