THE FIRE ON MONDAY NIGHT. (To'the Editor oj^Ae Daily Times J Sir -In reading your report of the fire at the Ki'feennv Boarding House, I fiad it stated, viz., " The Fire Brigade, under the command of Foreman Hushes, were speedily on the spot." Would you be kind enough to slate in your next issue that it was Oaotain Hobbs that was in 'command, and you will oblige. I am, &c., John Hughes, Foreman D.V.F.B. Dunedin, 24th August, 1864.
