TREATMENT OF PATIENTS IN THE DUNEDIN HOSPITAL

g IB _I am a man that lost my eye a month ago on ■Stawart's Island. I suffered great pain while I was on my way to Dunedin, then I got an order from the (government to the Hospital, and my eye sot much better with the assistance of the doctor. Last Monday, between, the hours of eight or nine o'clock, the watchman walked into the ward and shook mebv the shoulder, and told me that I was making a noise. I told him 1 was not. and he called me a liar. I told him that he was the liar. Then '.valked in a great big ward?man. ami he told me that if lie hetrd one word out of my lips he would clrns me out ot it. I told him that I would go out myself in the morning. He said, there is thedcor; the sooner jou are out the better. I do not know the man's name, hut they call him the Hospital bully.'
