As very many of the parties in town most interested in this matter now read tlie Daily Times instead of the Witness, I believe it would have a most beneficial ■ effect if you were to give a place to the paper in the columns of the Times, and by so doing you would much oblige—Yours. respectfully, Joiik HISLOP, Secretary Education Department. P.S.—I intend to forward to your office next weak returns of the population, crops, stock, &c, in the different electoral districts of tho province as compiled from the Census' returns procured last December.
