Oats.—The market is firm, and quotations are : Good milling, os 2d to 5s 3d; good to best- feed, 4s lOd to os. ~ Chaff. —The market shows a firmer tendency. Quotations: Prime, £8 10s to £8 ios; good to best feed, £7'lss to £8 ss; medium, light, and discolored, £6 to £7.

Potatoes. —Northern potatoes are blighted and frosted, and there is a keener demand for Taieri potatoes. Quotations: Prime Taieri, £6 15s; Northerns, £5 10s'to £6, sacks exlya, Is Bd. ■ Wheat is in short supply and scarce for c-eed purposes.

CLEARING SALE. The National Mortgage and Agency Company held a clearing sale on Friday at Windsor amount of Mr L. Priest. There was ii fair attendance, and a clearance was effected at prices well up to current values. The following are some of the prices obtained : Sheep—lso two and three-shear ewes, 28s; fat and forward M ewes, 27s 6d\ Cattle—Dairy cows, £ls 10s, £l3 10s and £l3; heifers, £lO 10s and £7 5s Cd; calves, £1 15s. Horses—One three-year-old, £22 10s and others £l4 to £l6; mare, £l2: five-year-old' filly, £45. Pigs—Breeding sows, £lO ss, £8 12s Gd, and £7 17s 6d; others, £6 and £4 15s. .
