SALE OF STUD SHEEP (Per Press Association.) CHRISTfcHURCH, March 11. One of-the largest lots of stud sheep, comprising' English Leicesters, Southdowns, ttyelands, and Shropshire*, ever submitted tor sale by one bfeeder, was held at the show grounds today, when Mr I. Andrews' liocks were sold. There was 11 representative ' attendance of sheep-breeders, and competition for various lots was fairly Keen. English Leicester stUd rams sold up to 7gs, but a large number were passed in. As the buyers present were buying largely for stud purposes, the ttyelands offered sold) well, a pen of flock ewes making 15gs,» but Down flock ewes, both Shropshire and Southdown, were had to quit.
