AUSTRALIAN SOLDIERS' CRICKET TEAM.
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUKCH, November 3. The New Zealand Cricket Council has received the following telegram from Sir James Allen: "Wtih reference to your telegram of 31st ultimo. I have cabled to the Minister of Defence, Melbourne, saying that New Zealand would be very glad to see the Australian soldiers' team in the Dominion if he will approve of the proposed visit."
