WAITAKI COLLIE DOG CLUB.

The annual meeting of the above club was hold on the 2.jth ult. before a good attendance of members, the president. Mr N. Hayes occupying the chair. After the minutes of the last meeting, had been confirmed and the balance" sheet adopted which showed a substantial credit the election of officers was proceeded with. The old officers were again re-elected and a tew new members added to the committee in place of those who had retired or left the. district. Tt was decided to nold the trials about the usual lime in May and to make it a Victory Championship Meeting. The prizes were fixed at £3O for first, £2O for second. and £lO for thud in each of the three, classes—altogether a total of £ISG and" eclipsing their fornvr record jubilee programme of £l2O in 190(5. It was also decided ii: view ol anlicipated rec:ord entry to dispense with the special exhibition yarding event, but to reinstate the competition for the. Cup which has been held in abeyance during the war. The appointment of judges and minor matters were left for the committee to deal with.
